HOW TO INSTALL

GT-X is engineered with an extended working time and smooth wipe-off for a relaxed, controlled coating experience. Read all instructions before application.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

* Work in a clean, well-ventilated environment.
* Keep the vehicle out of direct sunlight.
* Apply to a clean, cool and completely dry surface.
* Wear appropriate protective gloves.
* Temperature, humidity and surface temperature will affect working and dwell time.
* Always test GT-X on a small section when working under unfamiliar environmental conditions.

1. THOROUGHLY WASH

Begin with a thorough vehicle wash to remove dirt, road film and surface contamination.

For best coating performance, the surface must be completely clean before application.

2. REMOVE SURFACE CONTAMINATION

Inspect the vehicle and remove contaminants as necessary, including:

* Water spots and mineral deposits
* Road tar
* Tree sap
* Embedded surface contamination
* Previous waxes or sealants

Mechanical or chemical decontamination may be performed when necessary based on vehicle condition.

3. PAINT CORRECTION — OPTIONAL

Inspect the paint under proper lighting.

Paint correction or polishing **is optional** and should be performed when the desired finished appearance requires removal or reduction of swirls, oxidation, scratches or other paint defects.

GT-X will enhance gloss, depth and reflectivity, but it will not remove existing paint defects.

After polishing, thoroughly remove all polishing residue before proceeding.

4. FINAL PANEL PREP

Prepare the surface using an **IPA-based panel preparation solution such as Victory Panel Prep**.

Thoroughly wipe all surfaces to remove polishing oils, fingerprints and remaining residues that could interfere with coating adhesion.

Using a fresh microfiber towel, wipe the surface completely clean and dry.

**The surface must be clean, cool, dry and residue-free before GT-X application.**

5. PRIME THE APPLICATOR

Shake GT-X before use. Apply enough GT-X to evenly prime the face of a clean coating applicator. Do not oversaturate the applicator. Add several drops as needed throughout the installation to maintain consistent coverage.

6. APPLY GT-X

Apply a thin, uniform layer using smooth, overlapping passes. A crosshatch pattern may be used to ensure complete and consistent coverage. Work one manageable section at a time.

GT-X's extended working characteristics allow larger sections to be coated under favorable conditions.

**PRO TIP:** Adjust your working area based on temperature, humidity and surface temperature. Higher temperatures or humidity may change the coating's working behavior.

7. ALLOW GT-X TO DWELL

Under standard application conditions, allow GT-X to dwell for a **minimum of approximately 2 minutes** before leveling.

GT-X provides an extended working window, with a typical **maximum dwell range of approximately 5–10 minutes**, depending on environmental conditions.

WATCH THE COATING — NOT JUST THE CLOCK.

Temperature, humidity, airflow and surface temperature can influence flash behavior.

Observe the coating as it transitions from the freshly applied wet film and becomes ready for leveling.

Do not allow GT-X to completely dry or harden on the surface.

8. LEVEL & BUFF

Using a clean microfiber towel, gently level the coating and remove excess product.

Follow with a second clean microfiber towel to produce a clear, streak-free finish.

GT-X is engineered for an exceptionally smooth and forgiving wipe-off experience.

Inspect the panel from multiple angles under strong directional lighting for:

* High spots
* Streaking
* Residue
* Uneven coverage

Correct any remaining residue before moving to the next section.

9. CONTINUE AROUND THE VEHICLE

Repeat the **Apply → Dwell → Level → Inspect** process one section at a time.

GT-X may be applied to:

* Automotive paint
* Gloss PPF
* Carbon fiber
* Gloss vinyl wraps
* Exterior glass

Replace leveling and final-buff towels as necessary throughout the installation.

10. OPTIONAL SECOND LAYER

GT-X provides **18–24 months of standalone protection** when properly applied and maintained.

For enhanced protection and durability, an additional layer of GT-X may be applied.

**Allow 2–4 hours between layers.**

Before applying the second layer, confirm the first layer is clean, dry and free of contamination.

11. FINAL INSPECTION

Inspect all coated surfaces under strong directional lighting.

Carefully check panel edges, body lines and adjacent surfaces for high spots or remaining residue.

GT-X's extended working characteristics provide a forgiving installation experience, but proper final inspection remains an essential part of professional coating application.

12. INITIAL CURE & AFTERCARE

After installation, keep the vehicle protected from water and environmental exposure during the initial curing period.

Avoid washing the vehicle or exposing GT-X to detergents until the recommended initial cure period has passed.

(A) Keep Treated Surfaces Dry Minimum: 12 hours
(B) First Wash: 7-days
(C) Full Cure: 7-days

Returns

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
